Michele has long held an interest in the oil and gas sector. It began not long after college when she went to work at Arthur Anderson & Co. as a CPA for their oil and gas tax division. Today, she is Acrisure Agency Partner IndemCo’s leading underwriter of surety bonds for onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration and production. In fact, in this leadership position, Michele has helped IndemCo grow, extending almost $5 billion of credit to the oil & gas sector by 2020. She is recognized as one of the sector’s most influential and knowledgeable professionals, having been named one of 25 Influential Women in Energy by Oil and Gas Investor Magazine in 2019.

Michele first went to work for IndemCo when it was founded and initially focused on the company’s finance and operations side. In addition to her oil gas expertise, she uses her entrepreneurial skills in other leadership positions including: Controller of FileControl Incorporated, a fully scalable Active Information Management software technology firm; and Controller and Co-Owner of The Tuxedo Company, a wholesale distributor of formal wear rentals and fire restoration services. She is also known for advocating for women and women-led initiatives throughout each of her roles.

Michele graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and received her license to practice public accountancy as a CPA and is also a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
